Default Front Brake issue

I recently replaced the caliper due to it being stuck. I replaced the rotor and the brakes. Recently it feels to be sticking and heating up the rotor. Any thoughts on what is going on. Brake fluid is coming through the line and it bleed through the caliper fitting when pumped fluid into.

A wild guess: could the mounts for the caliper be out of alignment? If the caliper sits a bit crooked, would that make the pistons stick?

Seized caliper piston, brake hose holding pressure because of separation internally, or seized caliper pins/bores. Those would be my first thought.

you say you replaced the caliper, was it with a new one? Was it OEM? or was it a second hand one?

To the OP, as he suggests above, with the hose going bad, if you put a new caliper on because of age/sticking , it’s good practice to replace the hose as well as doing both sides.

What year is your truck? Seems premature for a 21 up to have a bad caliper. It happens tho

Pull the rotor, and bolt caliper back on. Does it move side to side. That would rule out the pins. If you replaced with a new caliper you should have made sure that all the pins were in good condition, or replaced them. I buy new pins and boots. They are relatively cheap. I rebuilt my calipers and made sure all 4 of my caliper pin bores were OK. I put the new pins in the 8 caliper positions. I found one bore that had corrosion in it. I cleaned it up till the pin moved freely. I then coated bore/pin with silicone brake lube to all free movement. It also helps keep out water/corrosion. I live in the Northwest.

If the pins were free, and you replaced with a new caliper, and the 2 pins slide free the hose might be the suspect? Unless the new caliper also had a frozen piston. Unlikely...... You could also jack up the wheel, apply brakes, then if brake seizes crack the bleeder fitting. If suddenly free, I would suspect the hose at that wheel coming apart inside. If one brake hose is bad, you might want to consider replacing all brake hoses. Others are probably close behind.
Brake hoses are relatively cheap compared to rotors, calipers, and pads going up in smoke.

I just did everything to my brakes, minus the brake hoses, and master cylinder. I have the brake hoses, and will be replacing them in the winter.
