I have a 2021 XLT 302 high package. What exterior lights are LED. I would like to upgrade the ones that are not and does anyone have link to a place to get good LED replacements.

I am curious about bulb vs full tail light replacement (other than cost). How is the light output on the led bulbs? Concerns with the heat generated from the required resistors? Would a full replacement tail assembly require resistors as well?

 

I have a 302A also and I believe the only non LED lights are the tail lights minus the reverse lights which are already led

 

I dont think a full lariat style replacement would require much. if you check out boostedgreygoose on instagram he makes a nice plug and play wire harness for that purpose. The only thing you have to do is use forscan to enable them I think.

 

Question: why buy resistors when you can disable hyperflash with Forscan?

 

Agreed, but not everyone is comfortable using forscan. I know I was not but had to learn.

 

I put in led brake lights and turn signals on my 2021 f150 xlt 302A and did not need transistors, they have them built in. Got them from Underground lighting.
