It'll depend on the LED bulb you go with. There are a couple of power level options that impact price and light output as well. Overall, they're going to be brighter with the proper LED, offer a longer life span, and provide a clean modern looking turn signal function.

Yes, resistors are required to eliminate bulb out warnings or hyper-flashing from the LED upgrade. Otherwise, this can be eliminated as stated by other users by using FORScan. The resistors will get hot when in use and will need to be mounted in a safe place when installed.

Default Used FORscan with some issues

Stopped the actual bulbs from flashing but not the signal indicators in the dash

Thank you all for the info. Would like it to be a plug and play solution...would prefer not to mess up a brand new truck :-)
Time to read thru the big forscan thread...

A lot to read but go over it carefully. Most important tip? Back up the modules settings (how-to in the documentation) just in case you hose something. Other than that you'll need a special ODBCII cable to hook into your laptop to run FORscan. Lot's of good things to change. Although for the LED fix as I indicated above, it took care of the annoying hyper flashing of the actual LED bulbs but not the annoying rapid blinking and tones in the dashboard
