Fingers crossed for you that it doesn’t! In a week or so your window sticker should be available!

Default Dealers Learn Ford Cannot Fulfill Some 2021MY Orders

No surprise, for your reading pleasure:

https://fordauthority.com/2021/10/fo...l-year-orders/

Folks who haven't heard anything from their dealerships concerning their 2021 F-150 orders should hear something soon - however, I'm not sitting by the phone holding my breath!

Hey all,
Just wanted to get thoughts on my current situation. Ordered from Granger motors which I know a lot of others on here have as well back on July 20th is when it has order confirmed on the Form tracking website. Got a 21 Lariat, already have VIN. Build date was scheduled first week of October. Kept checking the website and all it said was order confirmed. Reached out last week and was told my new build date was not not until mid November.. So is my understanding correct in that I should be getting 0% financing over 72 months, or $3,500 cash back? I will reach out to make sure they are using the COVP but I am assuming they are. Also looks like from the above that since I have a VIN that it will be a 21 model and not get upgraded to a 22 model, however who knows at this point. Fine with 21 but yeah at this point if 22 models are coming out in March I should be getting some deal. Feel like I am annoying them but they haven't reached out to me at all outside of last week when I asked about why it wasn't in production only to find out it was delayed over a month. Just wanted to get your all thoughts on what you would do if anything, appreciate the help.

Thanks

I don't think you are eligible for it since you will have a scheduled 21. The offering is for those who have unscheduled 21s that are being forced to convert and will then have to wait even longer for a 22. Additionally, it's meant to cushion/offset the price increase since 22s are slightly more expensive.

That ^^^

Seems to be whether they can get the parts, so scheduled i believe would mean they have the parts to build the '21.

(I quoted wrong post)
By the way, Granger like Chapmans does use COVP - although like the others said, it appears you're getting a 2021 since you already have your VIN.

Yep got it. Only other question I would have is do you know when they are stopping production on 21 models? Have that build week of 11/15 which is back from what I was originally told of 10/4. Just curious as to when they would completely stop making 21 models to get an estimate of worst case that I should get the 21.

The last published dates from about 3 weeks ago that I saw for when the 2022's will start production are:
Dearborn - 11/15
Kansas City - 12/6
