Great news for people who have 21s ordered
#101
I visited the dealer today and we reordered my unscheduled '21 as a '22. Exact same options. Order was placed using the '21 order number. Dealer acted as if he was unaware of the $3500 offer but when I told him about it, shared a picture of the offer, and reminded him that I'm a cash buyer, he took the offer for the files. Based on his comments, I suspect the offer will not work with good financing terms or be stacked on top of other '21 offers. My FOMOCO employee zone rep cousin knew about the offer so I did the conversion and moved on, as I suspected a '21 was not going be in the cards for me at this point. At a minimum, I do expect to get the 2000 PCO that I used when I ordered my '21 and which was eligible on '22s. Same order number will track back to the '21.

People getting bumped to 22's are getting the deal. My point is is people getting an end of model year '21 in Nov/Dec with no discounts are paying full price basically for year of depreciation already.
I think anything built after mid October should be a '22 or get rebate added if labeled '21.

At first I was okay with the 21 because it will save me on personal property taxes but so late in the year I'm wondering if I'll get burned a few years down the road for trade value vs a 2022. I'm getting a year old brand new truck and $500 more off isn't enough to cover a whole year of depreciation!

I am new to this forum. Please help me calibrate the "reality" of this post by telling me the source of this info: (a) an official promulgation from Ford corporate which can be viewed at a Ford website, or (b) an unnamed source from within Ford who is speaking "off the record", or (c) someone who knows someone to whom this info was disclosed in a underground parking garage in DC and who thinks it is valid?? I ask this because my Ford dealer does not know anything about this concept.

That's why I found a better dealer 2 weeks ago to put in a second deposit on a backup order with a real dealership (I'd lose my trade tax savings, but below invoice makes up for it)

I received my vin (after a 4.5 month wait) in late September and it has an M as the 10th digit denoting MY2021. I received the $3500 PCO offer in the mail a few days ago. It was the typical marketing offer and did not seem targeted to me because I have a truck on order. It's good until early January and is for $3500 on trucks and $750 on other models and excludes the difficult and usual high end stuff like Raptors and Broncos. I had a $3000 PCO already locked in so I'm sure this will replace that giving me another $500.

I get you in the regional aspect. Wat was the $1000 you mentioned there, I suppose in your market. From your original "you will receive an ADDITIONAL $3500 rebate (on top of the $1000) that will stack with current rebates"...what is 'the $1000' ?
Is that a current incentive there or what they offered you guys at the time you were ordering '21's?
I guess I'm trying to figure out the stacking being referred to is at time of delivery or at time of order knowing if a better incentive exists in the future you obvioulsy can get that.
