I think that's the same day they begin 2022 production at Dearborn. I read somewhere that since there are no major changes between model years, both 2021s and 2022s can roll down the assembly line at the same time. Seems a bit weird but I guess it makes sense 🤷 in a Ford way. 🤔

By the way, Granger like Chapmans does use COVP - although like the others said, it appears you're getting a 2021 since you already have your VIN.

Interesting, that is what I am most curious as an 11/15 production date is running pretty close to that, with no real wiggle room so will be curious to see if they actually get it built by then or not.

The caveat will be that your dealer MUST have your order entered into the COVP program.
Thanks for posting the program document.

Just to confirm, the "on top of the $1000" is the incentive to place the order, yes? There was a $1500 incentive for trades at the time I placed, does that still get stacked on as well? So 1000 for ordering + conversion $3500 = $4500. Or that $4500 + $1500 trade incentive = $6000?

That is absolutely not true. Once the 22's start up there will be no 21's built. The only time different model years are built at the same time are when early TT builds are done which is like 2 to 8 trucks a shift and they are integrated amongst the regular builds that day. For example 2022 TT's have been popping in for the last few months. They are followed down the lines by launch team members etc.

Has there been a set date for the MY22's to start rolling down the line? I think my dealer has my emails automatically sent to his junk mailbox these days....and you all have been a trove of information.

Which website do you use? I also saw production start-up of 12/6.

If your order was COVP'd correctly your PCO is good at any dealership so you don't necessarily have to reorder from the same dealer.
Glad I looked back through this. So if my current dealer did the COVP thing right, I'll receive an email from Ford with the deal as long as my information was placed in the COVP and I can just transfer that to a different dealer? I'm guessing the $500 downpayment on the MY21 F-150 would not be reimbursed by the current dealer? Thank you!

That's good - I was hoping it wasn't true. Wouldn't seem fair to the person receiving a 2021 and the truck in front of that one on the line is a 2022 as well as the one behind it! November 15th will be an interesting day at DTP.

Can't help you there. The trade rebate is regional, and the Houston region didn't have it.

I get you in the regional aspect. Wat was the $1000 you mentioned there, I suppose in your market. From your original "you will receive an ADDITIONAL $3500 rebate (on top of the $1000) that will stack with current rebates"...what is 'the $1000' ?
Is that a current incentive there or what they offered you guys at the time you were ordering '21's?
I guess I'm trying to figure out the stacking being referred to is at time of delivery or at time of order knowing if a better incentive exists in the future you obvioulsy can get that.
