Well the dealerI bought the truck from that said they would take care of everything has backed out of the deal and stopped all communication with me.

I was basically asking for a loaner since it hasn’t been even a month since I bought it and they said yeah yeah we will set you up. Then last minute they stopped communicating with me.

I do have an appointment with a Ford dealer to look at this issue but it’s not for a couple more weeks.

Make sure to start negative social media posts against them. That will at least kick em in the behind a bit.

Yeah I guess so.

Kind of my fault for not catching the sound during the test drive.

But this was definitely an issue long before I bought it.

The dealer should honor a sale and warranty within such a short period and should use the leverage with Ford to make it right. The fact they ghosted you should be a warning to all other buyers to avoid a such a dealer. If they were a HALF decent dealer they would do their best to help you. The fact they will not means they shouldn't be in business.

Post the dealers name and city on this forum so other prospective F150 buyers will steer clear of this dealer.

I guess I never said it wasn’t a Ford dealer.

it was a Jeep dealer with a used Ford for sale.

It was Olympia Jeep in Washington State

The warranty work will be done at a Ford dealer.

The Jeep dealer said they would provide a loaner, come tow my truck to a ford dealer that they work with.

Then they called back and said we need to wait until the manager get back Tuesday/Wednesday. They canceled the tow and loaner until then.

I have been trying to contact the manager and no reply and no call back.

At first the manager was very responsive and now nothing. I think they have decided to wash their hand of the situation because it will have to go to a Ford dealer to get fixed and they sold it to me with no extended warranty. It just has the factory warranty left.

I have an appointment at a Ford dealer that is close to my house but that is not until the 16th of October.

This situation sucks. I have a new to me truck that is less than a month old that I am worried about driving so it sits there.

are you trying to say that the differential carrier bearings have no races? Marks on housing this look like corrosion or discoloration.. The bearing shouldn’t be touching that surface at all.
