Ghost A/C
Are you using the AUTO function? If so, that could be the issue as well. It keeps the cabin at the set temp and will blow cold and hot to keep it there. It's not like a home HVAC where it shuts on and off, it uses cold and hot to keep it at set temp.
But yes, it's too complex of a system if you are used to an older system. It's quirky but it does work once you learn it.

I still have the same system in my 23 which does not act the same. At 70 in my 23 the air coming out the vents is never cold, it cools off as it gets closer to the set temp.
The 25 blows cold air, it never seems to warm up until I raise the temp up to 72 or more, then it starts acting the same as my 23.
It also turns on the recirc and the AC when ever it is over 55 degrees no matter the humidity.
If this is truly how Ford designed it, well they screwed the pooch on it.
I have a service writer and manger that thinks it is not correct also, and will have it tested out in a few weeks, when the part for my seat comes in.
No, I do not have Auto temperature turned on. When it did it the very 1st time, I was like, What the hell!? And this was in the cooler months. So, no A/C was needed. But, I immediately checked to see if I had turned the A/C on or hit another button accidentally.
yes, my truck turns on the A/C, recirculation automatically when I 1st crank it. Drives me nuts. So, I turn it off. I agree, Ford has failed with this situation, but I understand. I understand the idea, but when it's the perfect temperature and weather to ride with the windows down. It's irritating when the A/C turns on and freezes you out.
On a side note, at 1st start I also have to turn the radio volume down. is there a setting I am missing? Or can it be adjusted with Forscan?
Don't even get me started with the Adaptive cruise control. Thats a whole other story. Turned that off too.
