So my understanding was that the 2015-2020 Fox 2.0 coilover kit bolts right up to the '21's, and Roush even label the kit as 2015-2021 now. And that they come preset to 2" of lift. I just ordered the kit for my '21 (if it ever arrives). Noticed on the Roush website this note:
"NOTE: 2021 Trucks will require the lower spring perch to be adjusted 5/8” of an inch down on the strut shaft (towards the lower control arm) for proper suspension travel & improved ride."
Had not heard of anyone having to do this on the '21 installs. For those of you that have installed the Fox 2.0 coilovers, did you do this or just slap them on out of the box?
Plus I'm assuming when they say "lower the spring perch to be adjusted 5/8" they mean wind down the preload collar by 5/8" so there is less preload on the spring, ultimately lowering the amount of lift. Am I understanding this right? And if that's the case, won't they no longer be set to 2" of lift? I'm going to need that full 2" for clearance as I'm also putting on 34.5 x 12.5 tires.
I am in the same boat......looking for a 2" leveling with coil overs.....some folks already installed the 2015-2020 Fox 2.0 coil over kits and it bolts up with no issue, when I called Roush directly about it, they do not recommend installing these on the 2021. they told me Roush will release the 2021 Fox 2.0 coil overs soon.....maybe in June or July.....same answer I got with Icon coil overs.....late summer or fall....
I guess I will wait for now.

That's strange. It says right on their site it works for 2021 trucks. With the adjustment note I mentioned however, which is what I'm unclear about.
Got confirmation from Roush that the kit works on 2021 trucks, but they recommend the 5/8" lowering adjustment I mentioned for 2021 trucks "to accommodate the new truck design and optimize the suspension travel and keep the ride better". They said this adjustment shouldn't affect the 2" preset ride height much, but were unsure of the exact effects. They also confirmed the Fox spanner is required to do the adjustment, and a spring compressor to take the load off the collar before adjusting. I have neither of these things. A little disappointed as I thought it was a straight bolt on when I purchased them. If I decide to do the adjustment I'll need to either source the tools required, or have a shop do the adjustment for me, adding to the cost.
However I'm still curious, for those that have installed 2.0's on the front, did you do this adjustment or just bolt on out of the box?
Installed the Roush Fox 2.0 kit on my 2021 Lariat FX4 yesterday. Opted against adjusting the Fox fronts because the overall length of the new coilovers were the same as stock, so wasn’t even sure it would actually yield 2” of lift. I figured the new springs would be stiffer, but no way did I expect the results. Took all measurements before and after, here’s what I got....
Front - 3”
Rear - zero (duh)
I’ll try to attach some pictures here
Bottom line, I’ll need to adjust that nut down 5/8 inch, just as Fox recommends. That should lower the front about 1”.
That is so odd compared to my results. I put the Ford Roush branded Fox 2.0 struts on and it was just under 2". After everything has settled out, I have 1/2"- 5/8" rake.

So this kind of lines up with what Roush is telling me:
"Regarding the adjustments and why its needs to be done. The adjustment is required for proper suspension travel. Leaving it in the position received will limit the stroke of the components resulting in a ride deemed unacceptable by product engineering. The struts will lift the front of the truck 2.5" on the 2021 after lowering the perch by 5/8"
So by lowering it 5/8" it should bring you down from 3" to 2.5". Looks like I will be doing the same with the kit I just bought before installing it. Will most likely need to take them to a shop to have this done as I don't have the proper spring compressor.

Do you know if yours were lowered 5/8 before install? From your results, sounds to me like maybe they were.
Just installed the Ford Performance Fox 2.0, literature says these are specifically tuned by Ford Performance. Standard Fox 2.0, Roush Fox 2.0 and now Ford Performance Fox 2.0 not sure if there is much difference. Anyhow to the installation details, I unscrewed the collar 10 turns per side (not sure if this is more or less than 5/8") before installation because I was only looking for 1" of lift and I never saw the info regarding adjusting them for a 2021. Glad I did as I still got almost 2" of lift. Might adjust again to lower it by 1/2" but it rides and drives very smooth just a little firmer than stock. I had the Fox 2.0 on a 2018 FX4 and found 5 full turns on the collar = 1/2" of adjustment + or -.
Unfortunately with this kit removal for adjustment is mandatory in my experience but pretty easy with a $99 Harbor Freight hyd. press to remove spring pressure on the collar. Here is a before and after comparison.

When mine came, the instructions said they were set for a 2" lift and something to the effect that they were tuned by Ford/Roush. I wish I kept the docs that came with them. For the expense, they should have been tuned by somebody!

Thanks for the info. Looks like your experience lines up with what Roush is saying as well. They say lowering it 5/8" will net you 2.5" of lift on the '21's. Your 10 turns on the collar probably lowered it by closer to 1", giving you the almost 2" of lift that you're seeing.

Those instructions that mentioned 2" was for the '15 - '20 trucks. According to Roush, due to changes in the design of the '21's, if left that way will get you 3" of lift on the new trucks, which is outside of the range these coilovers are designed for and will limit the stroke of the components.
