So myself and a buddy of mine recently both bought 2024 F150 pick ups. I know basically nothing about FORScan , but my question is can this be used on multiple pick ups or is it married to one particular unit? Thanks in advance.

 

You can use it on as many fords as you like. You'll need a license, but they are free, you just need to renew it every 3 months.

Thank you for that information. Is there a link you can provide that would give me an explanation how to acquire the software and how to use it on a 2024? There’s so much information it’s hard to zero in on what’s applied to my 2024. Thanks again for the answers regarding my question.

 

Why are they unable to sell them a friend bought a lifetime for $50. I was going to buy the 5 year for $30. I was a Ford service manager and all my sources to use IDS have been shut down so when I found Forscan it was a blessing.

 

Because they are Russian and the current sanctions are preventing them from being able to accept payments from the U.S.

You’ve revived an old thread with outdated info. They haven’t sold longer than 1 yr license for a few years now. Forscan 1 yr license was shutdown for purchase from about mid Dec ‘24 until mid Feb ‘25. You can at present buy a 1 year license from two different vendors on their website. Yes, Forscan is from Russia and you never know when these two new workaround purchase methods will go away too due to sanctions.
