Default Faraday pouch?

I wish to store my key fobs in my truck and be able to lock the truck. I have tried 2 different Faraday pouches (from Amazon so ? quality) and even wrapping the fob in heavy aluminum foil. On each attempt it works good for about a week and a half then fails, even the foil. Any ideas or maybe where to find better pouches? I've searched and found other sources but no way to tell if they are any better quality. Thanks Jim

Find an all metal container with a cover that fit down over the edge.
Guarantee no signal will get in or out.
I can place my cell phone in that container and land line dial its number. It never gets the signal from the cell tower a mile away.
Good luck.

We've been using a old metal cookie tin for the daily use keys and the spare keys are in a fireproof safe in the big safe.

If you have the keypad on the driver’s door, press 7-8 and 9-0 at the same time. It locks the doors and deactivates the key if left inside the truck. To unlock the doors and enable the key, enter the Securicode into the keypad. I do this often and it works like a charm.

I knew about the 9&0 but not the 7&8. Thanks for that. We often lock the keys in the vehicle when we go for a walk. Hate to have a bunch of keys in the pocket.

I would just remove the battery from the fob... and then hide the key.

Yep, I've been doing that since 1994. Also, after entering your code, pushing 4 will unlock all doors and 5 will drop the tailgate.

Usually when I do the code I push 1, 3, and 5 that unlocks all doors and opens the tail gate. This also worked on the 2015.

So I've used the 7-8,9-0 to lock up occasionally but never tried it to lock the fob inside. It works so I'm going to try this, Thank You. I now have 3 vehicles with the same fob and don't like having even 1 in my pocket let alone multiples so the truck door as become a handy key safe. it was mentioned hitting 4 to unlock all doors, mine does that with just the code so that may be a setting you can change if so, inclined. Thanks for all the ideas, Jim

It is programmable to do that. That's how I have mine set up.
