Also both FordPass and my dealers service department no nothing about this issue and can't tell me if I have had this fix pushed to me.
Ford really touted Zone Lighting, but as far as I know, I still need to keep it disabled.
see my post for more insights - Zone lightning is definitely not the issue.

I recommend you make as many warranty claims as possible, you will eventually hit the Lemon law....get Ford to tow it to the dealer every single time the battery drains.

Left my truck sit for 8 days while out of town. Truck didn't light up when working towards it as normal and everything didn't light up once unlocking either. But it did start right up and center screen booted eventually (maybe twice as long as normal). Glad I didn't have same issue as most here. I haven't been notified of any OTA update, but hopefully everyone's issues are taken care of soon.

I have been towing my truck behind my RV since last Saturday. Checked it two days ago, started right up. Checked today, deader than a doornail. Had to call a service truck to jump it. Was gonna call Ford but did not feel like waiting around for hours. Now I have it on a charger overnight. This is the second time the battery has died.

Personally, I'd start documenting it by taking it to the dealer for repair. Not convenient I know, but you don't want to get stranded either. Just a suggestion. At least until they actually figure out the cause.

I would have but we were at a campground off I-40, not much around. When we get to CT I will certainly have it documented again. Maybe I’ll let the truck die again just so they have to tow it.
that and now I can’t shut off the perimeter alarm, have to keep the door unlocked when towing.
this truck is turning into a love/ hate relationship….

Finally got to CT and brought truck to the Ford dealer in Enfield, CT. They ran the usual test and charge of the battery, and with everything off, checked the electrical draw which was off the charts. They then ran the TSB reprogram of the gateway module TSB 21-2097 and also realigned a rear door. Then checked the battery draw again and it was negligible . Hopefully this is the fix for the dead battery. The only thing wrong now is that the DS rear door is not aligned with the front door. It’s off just enough to notice if you look. They also reset the battery minder.

Very good. I read somewhere that normal parasitic draw should be no more than 50 to 80 miliamps when all is off and doors locked.
