Drivers side window auto roll failure
Anyone else having issues with their window auto roll up not working ? I have a brand new 2021 XLT. Auto roll function failing to roll the drivers side window up. It’s winter here, and there’s always snow/ice buildup on the bottom of the windows. So the window sticks sometimes when trying to roll it down. Thinking this is the culprit and glitching the system. I have to manually hold the button for it to go up. It did this from day one, the service department reset it, but it failed again a few days later.
2nd time at the dealer today and they reprogrammed it again and fixed it. I explained it’s not fixing the problem because it keeps coming back. So, I manually held the window from rolling down to simulate ice/snow buildup and jamming the window from going down. Showed this to the service manager. It failed again. I have to reprogram every time this happens.
Side note, the auto roll down works fine, and the passenger side works fine. Only the drivers side door exhibits the auto roll up failure.
*Update
Passenger side window now exhibiting the same problems and more issues. Video attached.

I've had this issue a few times. It started on the drivers side, then the passenger started doing it too. I followed these instructions and haven't had an issue since (fingers crossed):
Resetting One-Touch Close
Carry out all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence.
Close the window.
Press and hold the window control switch until the window is fully open. Keep the window control switch pressed for a few seconds.
Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for a few seconds.

Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for a few seconds.
Note: Repeat the procedure if the window does not close when you use one-touch.

When you guys do the reset procedure does your window go all the way down? Mine is doing the bounce- but it's because the travel is limited due to not being able to go down all the way- almost as if something is blocking the travel.
I did try the reset procedure, but it's still bouncing when I do the auto up. Even if I try to pull the switch to the first detent (normal rollup, not auto up) if I keep it held too long the window will bounce. I'm asking because I'd hate to schedule a service if it's something I could fix myself.

This happened to my 2021 the other day when I washed the truck, my driver-side auto up and down feature stopped working. It would only roll up and down by holding the button, it started to work after I went to the store (45 minutes to an hour). So might it be an issue about it getting moist?

I'm going to wash my truck again later today. (Sprinkler busted and it sprayed the truck and we have heavy hard water so don't want it to get water spots) If it happens again I'll let you know.

My passenger side window is now exhibiting the same problems. But worse. It rolls up, stops, then immediately rolls down 2 -3 inches and remains open! I think there’s a major issue at hand here. Never had an issue with my windows in my 2016 XLT. Something obviously changed for the worse.
