Ya man.. I get how it's currently configured... My point was that it can be changed by the manufacturer if they were to address it in the future.

It's if you leave it running, take the keys and shut the driver door all the way. You can avoid the honk by leaving the door cracked or leaving the key fob inside the truck.

Before I performed the Forscan mod, I would put the fob on the back seat, get out of the truck close the door (no double honk because the key is still in the cab), open the back door and grab the key off the bench and close the door. No double honk this way. Of course this only works with the supercrew trucks.
