Yes you can. I found it on a thread here. A Ford Master Tech explained the process. I can't find the actual thread but here's the process:
Key on (don't start)
Flash high beams five times
Flash brake lights 3 times
Key off

This will reset the battery monitoring system. After I did this process I drove for a little over an hour and everything is back to normal. *** works if you want it to now however I don't use it but it'll let you know if your battery is in good shape. I also was using a digital charge indicator plugged in the 12V socket.

Since doing this I'm seeing constant charging ranging from 14.7 to 14.2. Before I did the reset I was seeing charging rates from 12.5-15. It was never consistent.

I hope this helps!

Okey i will try that. I just had the battery replaced a week ago. My Ford Service Department is really terrible now. Used to be the best service in town

When I first started having the problem a long time ago that was also the dealership solution. They installed a new battery and things were fine for awhile. I really believe this solution will help you.

how will I know if it worked. I do know that I didn't see the error message but the battery light didn't flash or anything. I can't drive it right now waiting on propane delivery

Well I'm not certain but I'd think after a good drive cycle and then an overnight period with the doors locked and key fob away from the vehicle. That's my thinking.

I found a you-tube and followed it (which is basically your instructions just tells you to wait until the battery flashes the reset). Thank you.

I am having the same issues as most of these folks. I have put the truck on a trickle charger to keep it from going dead on me. I finally got an appointment and took it in to have the other recalls done and have the battery checked. The Dealership said the battery was fine it just needed charged... they apparently didn't comprehend that I have had it on a charger every night.... I then drove the 35 miles to the dealership, and they said it needed charged. One would believe that it would still be full charged after having it on a charger and driving 35 miles. When I get there to pick it up the battery voltage was 12.1 Volts, I tell them, and they said that was normal! Well, an AGM battery is less than 50% at that voltage. I asked them to come check the battery again before I drove it home, they said their electrical tech was busy and he would check it in about 15 minutes. I wait for an hour and go ask the Service Manager when they would check it and he said he is still busy but at 12.1 volts the battery is fine. I drive home and check the battery the next morning and it is 11.8 volts. I am at the point where I may just replace the battery and cover the cost myself even though I have the 100K BTB warranty.

I forced the service manager to replace the battery for a known issue. I had to research how to reset the BMS but that is all it took was a new battery and reset
