Again, this is a foggy memory of mine so take it with a grain of salt.
I will need one fuse with constant power and one that is only hot when the ignition is on. I got the Garmin parking cable in order to use parking mode when the truck is off.

I don't know about the spare fuses getting power. I read in an old thread that the spare fuses get constant power. I have no idea if that's true or if it has changed since. I can check with a voltage tester, but I'm wondering why no one seems to use them. It seems like it would be a good idea to tap into an unused fuse. That way there is no chance of interfering with another function, and you don't have to worry about the possibility of overloading that circuit.

I went with a Thinkware F200 duel cam and hooked it up with an OBD cable. Plug and play. I needed just a basic front and rear cam. This works.

Default PowerBoost BCM constant hot

Am I going crazy? I haven't found constant hot in the BCM of my PowerBoost.

Every fuse I test (multimeter set to 20V on DC) reads dead. I'm touching the body ground with my probe, so the ground is good.

That is odd. I was surprised how many of the fuses in mine tested constant hot, like the moonroof for example. I don't even have a moonroof.

See, that's what I'm scratching my head about. I'll probably call in a second set of eyes but I am at a loss.

I don't get how the BCM could be dead, unless it's switched in the engine bay. It's a lariat...and it does some weird contact clicking on approach

Maybe try starting it up and retest. If the truck is on and you're still getting nothing, something is wrong with your multimeter or ground.

I was just gonna stick it on my kids 6v in the morning. But yeah, probably is an ID-10T issue anyway.

i am seriously considering the Thinkware F200 PRO front and rear cameras. Both are 1080 HD
Price for both is currently $199.99 you can also get it with the GPS add on, price goes up to $229.99 prices include the hardwire kit
From my research this camera bundle is excellent
If you do not want to install it yourself Best Buy will install both for $49.99, which i think is a bargain!

I have the FA200, it works great and was easy to install.

I'm really curious about some of these circuits. My truck does not have a wireless charger or moonroof, but the fuses (#3 & #24) are both present and have constant power. According to the manual, these fuses do not power anything else. It seems that these would be ideal to use for a dash cam, since they apparently aren't powering anything in my truck.
