Default Consensus on leveling with Bluecruise

Howdy, everyone,

Just got a 2023 Platinum, with BAP. Super sweet, I’ll have to take pics soon.

in the meantime, I’ve been searching on here but haven’t really been able to find anything concrete…

What ended up being the consensus with leveling a truck with bluecruise? No issues?

Thanks in advance!

Works fine on mine. It will ping-pong a bit, but it did that before the level. Possibly worse even.

In my case, I got my 2" level before I got BC, so I don't know what it would have been like had I not messed with the suspension. In my case, it would ping-pong within lane. After an IPMA calibration procedure, it worked fine. You can do it yourself with FORscan and a $35 OBDII adapter.

Are there any instructions on how to do so?

I tried looking, but I could not find anything specific to the IPMA calibration process. I'm surprised no one has made a YouTube video of how to do this. When I did mine, I did it with FDRS, but the tool needed for that is much more expensive and only needed if you want to perform module updates, so I can't speak on behalf of what the process entails. If all you need is FORscan, there is no need to go that route. However, I am sure it is easy. It will require you to drive the truck with the laptop hooked while it calibrates the cameras. With FDRS, it asks you to measure the distance between the ground and the highest point of your front wheel arches and input those values into FDRS before you begin the calibration procedure. Not sure if FORscan would be the same, but I would assume so.

I dropped mine in the rear using the OEM ford performance parts - no vibration (to 105mph limiter) and no blue cruise or lane keeping issues - no recalibration needed

Are you planning on paying the $800/yr for BlueCruise once you current one ends? I'm not. So who cares if leveling conflicts with BC.

Not sure, but I got 3 years of it for free right now, so I do want to take advantage of that haha
