I was curious if anyone has experienced the auto braking feature engage or knows how to test it .
Just bought a 24 STX which is equipped with it and wanted to test and try it so as to know what to expect if it kicks in. I approached a vehicle from behind on the highway and approached it to
what I’d say was an unsafe distance and nothing happened.🤷🏻I have to wonder if it’s not working . I did check the feature settings and it is turned on.
I’d like to get a sense for how hard it brakes or is supposed to as I’ve read others fear it will cause them to get rear ended.

Now ask yourself if you need to proceed with this type test.
My best recommendation is to find a front & rear dash camera that is plug and play with the mirror wiring to protect YOU from the actions of others.
