Choosing Between Two Trucks
That's some fuzzy math there, but again, it's your money. And i'm not one of the Platinum crowd anyway.
I would get what you want. If you get the 3.5 with black interior, you'll always wish you got the other one with the motor and interior color you wanted. Buying out of state is very easy. Just make sure the dealer uses the correct sales tax when buying, that's it. I bought my truck a state over and it was absolutely no problem. 9k miles isn't that much in the grand scheme of things and you are saving a little money. But as others suggested, make sure you get a full history of both trucks to make sure your not picking up a lemon or one that has a problem that isn't fixed.
I bought my last 3 vehicles out-of-state, including my current '21 Platinum PB for $55k with 32k miles back in July. Your posted prices seem a bit high. Maybe increase your search area radius to find additional choices? If that's not an option, the first truck seems to be the better deal.

Had a 19 Platinum 701a 3.5 max tow pano roof truck. Beautiful vehicle just too much black and it felt to claustrophobic in it.
Traded it in on a 21 XLT 302a PB with the 7.2kw pro power.
Again a beautiful truck but in the colder climates in Central Wisconsin the PB is a heavier version of the 3.5EB with limited battery use and returned virtually the same mileage the 19 3.5EB did during the colder months. There are other quirks in a PB to get use to also. Again not the right vehicle.
Traded the 21 PB on a 22 XLT 302a 2.7EB payload package truck, darn near bought the identical truck with a 5.0. If the 22 2.7EB had been delayed another month would be driving a 5.0 today.
The PB is a much more complex vehicle than a standard ICE vehicle and myself after having a NEW PB would have have a lot of 2nd thoughts about buying a used PB in ANY trim line. Just so much more to deal with with in a PB over a conventional used ICE vehicle.
Pull the window sticker and generally the biggest issue is the MAX TOW axle bolt breaking in Gen 14 F150's.
Platinum PB VS a 5.0 Platinum a Platinum PB will have a much lower payload rating than a 5.0 Platinum.
Do a Car Fax. Search the Ford Certified Used and go for the Gold Certification. Just put in the area zip in the search inventory and who knows something better may be out there.

Call the out of state dealer. Today many dealerships routinely do out of state purchases. Been through the process you will live.
