I initially ordered a F150 22 Feb 22 and then made some minor changes on my order 30 Mar 22, I knew Ford had a price increase early/mid April after my last order change. Talked to my dealer today to make another single $100 change on my order to beat the 22 MY Friday order deadline. To make that $100 change on my order would have been a difference of about $1200-$1300 because the changed order would be based off the current increased prices, not the prices of when my initial order was made (I left my order as is.)

Interesting. As I had understood it, price should be protected as long as trim/engine/drive train remain the same.

Not sure if my dealer would make the change for the $100 option (3.51 to 3.73 gear ratio) if I would have pressed them, I'm content the way my order stands. If Ford would have been able to send me a VIN in a reasonable time frame from my initial order date, I wouldn't have been wondering if I really want - need this or that, I would have been content just waiting my 6-months plus for my truck to be delivered.
