Auto Ebrake
Here's the deal; I have new 2021 f150 xlt fx4. When I 1st got the truck the automatic ebrake would engage after you put it in park, and would auto release once you gave it a little throttle in reverse or Park. When I was having all the electrical problems with all sensors accociated with safety. No camera, blind spot warning, side, front and rear pre collision avoidance cameras and modules. So during this time trucks been in the shop 3 times for this and they can't figure it out. To make a long story endless, the Ebrake just works manually now, and the settings to put it auto is gone. It seems to have happened after our most recent(possibly 1st one) OTA Update. I actually like the auto Ebrake, and want it back. I may just turn off the OTA Program.
Has anybody else experienced this? Do you have a setting on this spaceships info center? Thx

I don't recall seeing an "E-brake" setting anywhere, nor did I notice it automatically setting/releasing the E-brake. as you described.
What I did find was that the Auto Stop feature can be a problem when going through automatic car washes!
Auto stop, of course, will "keep your foot on the brake" after you stop until you press the accelerator. Saves you the effort of holding the vehicle in place with your foot while waiting for a light to change or something similar.
When I went through the car was for the first time, I didn't realize it would keep it on even if you shifted into neutral. The truck was jolting around like it was in park while the attendants were yelling at me to "put it in neutral".
I did RTFM on it today, and on page 283, it clearly tells you to "switch the system OFF before using an automatic car wash" ...

I surely do appreciate the responses I've received. Thanks Fellas.

The only thing I can think of, trying to remember what happened the day my truck almost went through my garage door, because all of the electronics went nuts including the ABS module. I was literally 4 inches from the door with my foot all the way to the floor before it finally stopped . I might have had the Ebrake on trying to stop. Which would have given me the break light icon in the dash. Idk. I cannot reproduce the event. I notice when in auto hold when you stop there's a green steering wheel icon of some sort illuminates when it's engaged. Pretty slick. That might be what I experienced.
I noticed my ebrake on when I was trying to hitch or unhitch, which caused me problems because sometimes I will push or rock the truck a little bit to get the ball seated or unseated just right. I didn't manually apply it at all but when I went to the cab sure enough it was applied. I took it as the truck trying to be "helpful" but was not in the mood to try to debug or figure out how to disable.
