Default Another Problem

Twice now my 2022 STX with 2.7L has momentarily lost power when I pull out from an intersection. This time nearly got me run over..Any ideas?

I have the same complaint with my XLT 2.7 and so does a friend of mine with a '23 5.0 STX. I think its inherent to the trucks programming. 99% of the time, the truck drives perfectly, but the 1% when you are trying to sneak out into traffic is the issue. I believe it doesn't know what to do with the abnormal throttle input and says "are you sure about that?" for a half second before saying "ok fine" and doing what you are asking. Its certainly an issue, but is one that I think comes from the fuel efficient approach to the OEM trans/engine tuning. From what I have read, aftermarket tuning gets rid of this, but ive started learning to predict it.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Does your truck have the *** (a most appropriate acronym) feature? If so disable it and see if the problem reoccurs.

Almost sounds like an over eager stability/traction control system pulling back power. Does this happen only when you pull out on an intersection turning left or right?
