Android guys? help!
I have used wireless android on my 2022 F150 with my old S22 plus and now my new S26 plus and I find it works without any issues, that I am aware of. Maybe a few times in the last 3 plus year I had connection issue, but those problems were corrected with a phone restart.
Anytime you are aware that android auto received an update on your phone, I suggest that you do a phone restart. Same goes for anytime one changes any AA settings in the phone - do a phone restart

Man your the apple dude. Usually it the woman that wants the simplified apple OS...
I would man up and get into the android world.

Anyway I have the new S26 Ultra and no issues, but I turn off wireless android auto it sucks. Just use the wire... USB C cable... Works way smoother.
Also turn off all notifications for android auto not needed to be on. ORRR is this a Bluetooth issue is android auto disconnecting or just the phone connected via Bluetooth.
You can watch u tube or google how to do this.
Good Luck

and thanks, got notifications off.
Android is the only way imho, unless you're completely a non tech type person then go iOS. When the iOS choice leaves you with tech issues(and it will), you will end up scheduling a trip to the apple store to have them fix it, no thank you.
Android system gives the end user the ability to help themselves.
Don't even get me started on the transferring of mp3 to apple format crap...uhhhggg!

i get it. i may join you someday, but i don't use my phone enough to warrant the huge investment.
It what way does wired AA work better than wireless. You wrote way smoother. Can you explain or give an example. I'm using AA wireless with a Pixel and not having any problems, except music doesn't always start automatically.
