Tried this on my 23 and now i have no audio, funs times.
So ive done all in post 1, I have the antenna with the Curry color and red.
Not trying to add nav.
N. Please note if you have replaced the ACM, you are best served by running a PMI in FDRS *before* doing anything with FORSCAN. Select "no" in FDRS when prompted for the condition of the module and complete the PMI.
Where is the PMI and FDRS?
7DO-01-01 *xxx-xxxx-xx This value went from 8 to A.Yours may vary just make sure to enable SDARS .
727-01-01 *xxx-xxxx-xx This value went from B to 3. Same as before, enable SDARS but check your as-built FIRST.
Reset the APIM and you should be all set. You should see the tuner option for Sirius and have access to the preview channel.
Thought my radio says audio off an cannot get into audio menu.
Changed value here no change. Changed the 0005 to a 8.
WHere is the PCM run? Im so frustrated at the moment,
So after reading the multiple threads about adding SiriusXM back into the truck, I have discovered that in the hidden menu (FF Track on Steering Wheel + FF Track on dash) that it reports a SiriusXM serial number, and antenna status: connected. (I'll post a pic a little later) I am going to try FORScan to see if I can turn the feature back on and then check for signal. If I am still without - I;ll follow Wallyo's post and report back.
Update: I was able to turn on Sirius XM in FORScan but was not able to connect to the service as it reports "Antenna Issue". I will be ordering a nre antenna and splitter cable soon and restore it per factory.
Thanks again to everyone who contributed to this forum as it made it easy to find a way forward.
Update: I was able to re-install Sirius XM in my 22 F150 by following the directions in this these threads. I purchased an OEM antenna for the passenger side and a splitter cable. I ended up installing the splitter first but didn't connect the blue cable to the APIM. It seemed llike a lot of work to get to the APIM in order to connect the cable. Besides that I wasn't ready to install the new antenna yet as the weather wasn't cooperating. Nice day finally came and I opened up the headliner and began the swap. I remember reading somewhere that someone had opened up the old antenna and removed the GPS antenna and taped it to the underside of the roof. I took mine apart to do teh same and realized that I could remove the GPS antenna and install it into the new one. I unsoldered the circuit board, removed the cable and then threaded that cable into the body of the new antenna, re-soldered the antenna and with a little tape, held it in place between the two antennas on the new assembly. Screwed it all back together and finished the install. All is working well. I used the XM dealership app linked elsewhere in this thread, drove to my dealership and activated my XM radio. 3 Months free! All-in-all it took me about two hours to do the whole thing. Thanks for all who contributed to help guys like me have the courage to DIY.

Reason: Additional Information
Got it up and running here is how it worked for my 2022 xlt with nav xm delete.
Items needed:
Forscan for windows licensed version or 2 month free trial.
OBD to USB extension
Dash XM antenna or in my case an Antenna from a Jeep Wrangler or other Chrysler I pulled one from a 2011 Grand Caravan at a Pick a Part yard cost 3$.
Basic
1. Remove top Dash tray to get to the ACM.
2 Check your ACM for the unused XM plug and that a XM radio code is in the lower left corner of the tag on the ACM (to read the tag you will need to remove the unit0.
3 Plug in and start Forscan
4 Go into the PCIM change the 7D0-01-01 from 0001 to 2001. Power stereo on and off. Now you will have the XM logo in with AM, XM etc.
5 Go into the ACM change the 727-01-01 B828 to 3828. Power stereo off and on. Now you will see no antenna.
6 Power stereo off plug in antenna.
Again, the above changes are what worked for me Your PCIM and ACM may be the same or different! Proceed with CAUTION when using forscan!
I am going to test it out a bit more, but so far, the reception is better than in my 04 Seirra.
If the results continue to meet my expectations, I will drill a hole into the Lower dash tray and sandwich the antenna between it and speaker grill. Below the center dash panel sits a bit of plastic in the corners I think the antenna will fit not using a bolt but double stick tape or command hook refills.
More complex:
1 All of above except the antenna:
2 Remove current cell GPS roof antenna (Blue and Burgundy Plugs0
3 Install XM Antenna (curry and Burgundy Plugs)
But here is where it gets tricky without a Nav APIM and a splitter up front you will lose GPS function in Ford Pass.
Some think a splitter in the rear to tie blue back in may work (untested).
I was wondering if a small GPS antenna with a blue plug again from a Wrangler tucked into the headliner will work?
In Wranglers both of these are buried the XM antenna is on the roll bar under the removable hard top. The GPS is there or under the center dash panel in earlier Wrangers, the panel is similar to the F150..
Hope this helps out.
Also there are companies selling XM upgrade kits with a dash antenna. Though the ACM has digital over the air, it is expensive about 600. f you are buying the kit to just add XM, check you may be XM ready as
it is!
Photo showing there is space between the speaker grill and shelf to fit the Sirius XM antenna. Antenna lead is long enough to make it to the ACM
Plastic in corner below dash panel.
Lastly since the ACMs have never been registered with Sirius XM you will need to call and explain that you need tech dept to Manually enter it into the system.
When a truck is delivered the dealer does this for you. and it is suggested by ford that they even preset a few of your favorite channels. You can try going through,
the dealer they may or may not be willing to do so. Just easier to call XM. I did have to call twice first agent could not find the radio ID the 2nd knew what to do.
In your install steps, is it critical to wait to plug the antenna in until after making the changes in FORSCAN? I installed the module with antenna plugged in and all i get is "SiriusXM loading" when I select the source. My antenna is top of the bracket under the plastic cover and my ACM is an ML3T-18K810-CDK.
