Default Adaptive Cruise Control module failure

2024 F-150 XLT. 2 inch level on 35 inch tires. In August, my adaptive cruise control quit working and I get the pre-collision assist not available warning. Ford dealer replaced part number RB5T-9G768-AB and could never get it calibrated. I picked up my truck and was able to calibrate with Forscan lite. Now after a month, the same issue has occurred. Adaptive cruise control does not work and I get the pre-collision assist not available warning.

Anyone with a similar problem can help provide insight on this issue and how to resolve? Dealer not being very helpful.

Oddball problem. Suggests a wiring harness defect to me.

I am in the same boat. I have a 6 inch lift on my 2024 platinum and they changed one of the sensors and could not calibrate. We use my factory tires and they was able to achieve calibration but after 4000 miles on the truck the same situation has happened again.
have you had any luck resolving this issue? I am trying to deep dive in this and reach out to as many people as possible and if I do end up coming up with a true resolution, I will make sure to post as well.

I have gone round and round with several dealerships over this. They can't fix it and essentially send me away to deal with it on my own. Ford is no help and refers me back to the dealership. I purchased another new CCM module and forscan. Before installing the new module, I used forscan to change my tire size and match up my truck speedometer with GPS speed. Then I installed a new CCM and used forscan to program it. After programming, I went through the calibration procedure and it worked. It's been two months and still good.

Sounds like the lifted truck, raises the Sensors above a certain level to see the see distances in front of the truck and now out of calibration tolerances.
May not work at closer distances now if the Radar Sensors are looking too high a level over the top of other vehicles.
Good luck.

I had this same issue after getting a 6" lift and 37's.
Dealership tried but failed to get it fixed. They couldn't get the ccm to recalibrate and threw the towel in.
I got Forscan and figured it out this morning.

The cause was the CCM automatic alignment offset being out of spec, which didn't let the recalibration process even start. My value was 6.90, I read somewhere that the max allowed was 3, so I manually changed the value to 2.90, then ran the recalibration. I then needed to reboot the ccm module so the truck could "relearn" it, but now all works fine. After the recalibration, my alignment offset was .70 (the truck changed it itself after running the recalibration).

I also changed my tire size and fender height in Forscan. My speedometer is now dead on as well.

Forscan for the win!

Has the problem returned after a solution? I keep getting it fixed and then I get about 3-4 months of driving before it returns.

How did you make your changes is forscan? I can't get the PCM to relearn after updating the tire size. Also, how did you update the fender height and manually change the offset? I thought the only way was to recalibrate, there was no manual adjustment. Mine is currently sitting at -5.30 offset.

You can calibrate the IPMA with FORScan to account for the higher wheel arches in the lane-keep calibration procedure. Not sure about the offset, though.
