My dealer texted me that my '22 is on the lot, gassed up and ready to go (after we do the paperwork).
I am going to get her after work today. This will be the longest 3.5 hours in my life.

By plans, do you mean stuff like towing a travel trailer or more like mods and stuff? I do still ponder getting a small travel trailer and getting back into it. I also have some plans for mods...nothing will be major except the stereo. Stock sound just doesn't cut it for me. I'll probably tone down that rake a little, depending on the travel trailer as I'm not really a lifted truck guy.
I plan on doing lots of little things like antenna, BullRings, spraying or rolling in a bedliner, painting or dipping the remaining chrome to black... including wheels (although those do look pretty good as is), maybe vinyl on the front grille, darker tint, especially on the front. There will probably end up being a hundred little minor things I'll do to it.
I do plan on wearing out the adaptive cruise! really looking forward to that.
Man, I really hope the dealer doesn't try anything silly when I go do the paperwork after work today! It'll be X-plan so it should be straightforward.
Five Star Dallas is a solid dealership in my experience. Took delivery of my wife's '21 KR earlier this month. It was ordered in March '21, finally had an ETA of September after a long summer, got chip delayed again, then finally arrived 12/3. But the dealer was very pro-active during the tracking process and even put in a '22 order for us when the order banks opened in the hopes it might actually ship/build faster. It of course didn't (and still hasn't, lol) but point being.....I would recommend Five Star Dallas. Enjoy your new truck. Nice looking!
