Unhappy Tuner Question

I did something stupid this week! I forgot to reset my tuned truck to factory before having it serviced at Ford. I’ve heard that now my tuner will not work on my truck and needs to be sent in. If I pug it into my truck, what will tell me that's the case? What will show on the screen. Idiot mistake I know did not realize it until after they took the truck.
Thanks for any help.

Well, unless the dealer went into the computer to do any updates on the system, it shouldn't matter. Even on just oil changes, while my truck was still under it's extended warranty, I always changed it back to stock. Now that I'm past warranty I just leave the Livewire in and hooked up (I leave it attached to the windshield for the gauges). I just tell the service writer it's in there and the truck is on a tune.

My A/C fan **** would not adjust the fan speed, they replaced the ****.I have a SCT X4 tuner. I did see the Ford Service person connect a black device to the port and that is what made me think about not returning it to stock. Did I screw up?
