Whipple say they are about to release a stage 3

Which will be a true flex fuel kit, bigger injectors, in tank pump, a flex fuel sensor on the fuel rail.

it will have use calibration additions to the ford racing OS (whipple tune) that can adjust lambda for and % of ethanol or combination of premium and ethanol

ETA unknown...

Wow!! So with the "automatic" lambda percentage adjustments do you think this will open up the flexibility to move between premium and E85? Or do you think it will be a 100% E85 dependency that is able to cope with poor ethanol mixes?

LOL not like I need more reasons to get poorer MPGs.... but let's all be truthful with ourselves. We did not put Whipples on our trucks because we were hoping to get good gas mileage

Love how these trucks seem to be bottomless money pits. I just got a shipping notice for my 4A Raptor/2019 Limited transfer case. When I crawled under it to see how hard the header were going to be to install thought to myself, Damn!! might as well do the transfer case at the same time, it will give me more room to work. Even though we haven't had any snow this year to amount to much the manual 4X4 the XLT has kind of drives me nuts. My 18 year old Infinti had a form of 4A and why Ford doesn't make it standard on a 4X4 truck seems stupid or greedy.

I’m pretty sure anything from whipple will be a true flex setup. It sacrifices some power but is better for the end user.

Ohhh nevermind... I forgot you did not have the auto 4x4 stuff. I assume this adds those features? Also assume I already have this in my Platty?

Yep...Ford really screws over XLT owners for that feature, the transfer case is just about a $100 more from parts. You have to go up to a Lariat to get 4A and you can't get a Lariat in a RC...GRRR...

Let me know if you want help putting that in. I don't have any work until after Jan 8th, and even then no plans to travel yet this year. I'd be happy to come up and help ya out.
