Just bought an SCT x4 tuner last night with 87 perf/tow / 93 perf / 93 perf/tow

I only have a Corsa c/b on my truck. Hoping that with the 5* tunes makes a big difference on the truck. I also bought "GT" plugs as well.

How long does it for 5* to respond once I receive my tuner, DL my pcm info and send it to them for their "can tunes"?

Being in Wisconsin, it's likely you have a gas station nearby that sells E85? The difference between the E50 tune and the 93 performance tune is like going from stock to tuned. Well worth what they charge for it.

 

It's funny that you mentioned that, being that I am from WI but now live in FL. There are NO E85 pumps here! 93 is all I can seem to get. However, I do still have my E30 tune from WI...

 

OP is now one of us! One of us! LOL. Didn't take long for me to receive my tunes from them after I sent them my PCM info. I think it was next day.

Being in Florida what made you go 5star instead of oz or palm beach dyno

Yep. ECO. Only so many tuners out there!

 

And 5 Star is among the best of them. I'm on my 4th tuning package for a recent F150 from 5 star. They are easy to deal with, tunes are good, and other than the odd slow response, they get it done.
