Looking for tuning
So not to be lengthy, I live in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area and I own a 2020 Roush F150 lariat supercharged. I’m looking for any suggestions on the closest and best shops for tuning purposes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Does the truck have a full exhaust?
that would probably be perfect. Main thing I’m looking for is better transmission shift points, little more in the 0-65 range, little quicker/responsive throttle at the pedal.
If that’s all you want get Pcmtec and the dongle and I can do a few little things like that no problem. However, it takes quite a bit more to drop it to the times I’m running….meaning flex/e85 and some bolt ons.

And is that just plug and play?

In my truck I have a 170 tstat, 2.8 pulley, 18v bap, 106 mm edelbrock tb, and gt500 cats.
pcmtec is like $180 usd with credits and the dongle is a little over $100. Check out their website. It’s tuning software so you read your file with it, make changes, and flash it. It’s sort of open source.

If you go this route, be sure to update to the latest Roush tune first. There have been a few recalls for tune updates that were meaningful and the base Roush tune is a great starting point. Any Roush dealer can do this free of charge. You can also download the Roush software and use the Pcmtec dongle to update if you feel so inclined.
