Default 2020 Roush Nitemare CC tuning and bolt-ons results

Just wanted to share with the forum where this effort landed.

2020 F-150 Roush Nitemare, Lariat, Crewcab.

Mods:
- 2.8 pulley (+2 psi)
- Edelbrock 103 mm tb
- 18v BaP
- GT500 cats
- 170 deg thermostat
- Spd 3” mid pipe and resonator
- Lots of custom tuning, including flex fuel, torque by %ethanol, torque by drive mode, etc.

The tune is still conservative, running 7000 rpm shift points, shift torque cut, and .71 lambda to protect the cats. I also still have the stock 22” 75 lb wheels and “eco” tires, not to mention the factory f-150 fuel pump that’s shockingly doing just fine.

The 1-ft 0-60 was 3.07 and the 60-130 was 8.9, FYI

Snip from the log. Note the injector pulsewidth and fuel pressure showing the stock F150 pump (w/BAP) and stock Roush 47# injectors are holding up great with overhead.

Nice. Seems to be in family with most SC 5.0's! Good tires, you should be in the 10's pretty easy.

tried PMing you.

Are you able to tune the Roush 14gen trucks? I just want some minor tweaks and dont have e85 available. I am open to PCMtec but not sure what it takes to convert over.

@Davidwnuc i have not yet tuned a 21+, and the pcm requires some additional steps to get in. I’d take a shot at making some tweaks though.

I was wondering if you would be willing to share some info on changing some tuning on my 2020 roush f150.
I am trying to tune as much as I can myself before spending the money on custom tuning.
I am running HP Tuners.

What do you recommend setting trans shift to and how do you remove the speed limiter. I have set it higher but it seems to still stay at 106 mph

I set my shift points at 7000 rpm. There is definitely more power above that but I wanted to keep it a little on the conservative side. HPT tables ecm25000 and 2798 should take care of the speed limiter.

Both hpt and PCMTec have no problem accessing the Roush file. What osid do you have? KTGV#?

Working with another forum member and his supercrew otherwise stock Roush setup will wind up running bottom 12’s, possibly a high 11 on true pump gas.
