i'm not looking into any cutting, I want a direct fit intercooler.

Ok Whipple and Mishimoto look excatly the same, Mishimoto is about $60 cheaper.
Is the Whipple worth the extra $60?

Probably because whipple buys them from mishimoto, add the whipple sticker, and marks it up. Just a guess.

Possibly the cores, both are bar and plate and look the same but the end tanks are as different as possible but still fit into the stock hood.
