Doing stuff like this keeps my mind and hands occupied. My only hinderance is my age, 60yrs, not as agile and flexible like I used too be, lol. No I'm not perfect but I still strive to make my stuff look professional. No matter what I am doing.
Believe me I am always very apprehensive about even asking anything anywhere. I tend to just stay in the shadows. I always consider all my options.

Default Gt factory headers

Has anyone tried putting the factory headers from a Mustang Gt on a F150?
They would have be a big improvement over what comes on the F150.

not really, pretty negligible difference. The stock F150 manifolds flow surprisingly well

Swapping headers is a labor intensive job (6-8 hrs). Why not just buy headers made for your truck if you're going through the hassle? Even if stock gt manifolds were better than stock f150 manifolds why would stock gt manifolds be so common on the market? Because mustang guys swap for larger aftermarket headers. Why wouldn't you want to get larger aftermarket headers yourself? I guess it just doesn't make sense to me. Then again, that's why I went with 1-7/8 Kooks made for my truck.
