So here is my current for sure plan. Ported gt intake, omega tune to daily and a e85 tune for the track, pmas intake. And here is my hang up are long tubes worth it or will a y pipe suffice. Is will be na for a pretty long time. Are there off-road x pipes made for the 150? If headers are worth 20+ more hp I may just do it but if it's only 10 or so I may save my time and money.

Ken's Omega tune is a flex tune so you don't need a separate tune for E85. I don't have headers so I can't help with that question. I had a catless Y pipe at one time and liked it except for the fumes. Getting one of those is pretty hard these days because of the EPA cracking down on everyone. Good luck!

Would catted long tubes be comparable? I'm shoot for 450whp and figured I'll need one or the other to get there

Others are more knowledgeable but I think 450 to the wheels while doable it's at the top of what most can achieve N/A. For reference I put down 395 on an 80* humid morning here in NWF on a dynojet dual brake Dyno with a 5th gear run. My truck has the Omega tune, JLT CAI and ported 18+ mustang Mani on 93 pump gas. That's also with 22" Shelby wheels and 305/40/22 Toyo ST's. I have stock exhaust manifolds and Y pipe. I've heard that you should run in 7th as the ratio is 1:1. Next time I'll try it.

I honestly don't think you will feel a 10hp difference. The 18+ exhaust manifolds actually flow very well. If you have the extra money to toss around then by all means knock yourself out but personally I don't think it's necessary. Even for us 700hp+ FI guys it's not really necessary. The biggest thing is removing stock cats which tend to fail on boosted applications so to those people it's recommended to atleast go with a ypipe to allow high flow or no cats. Unless you are going max effort NA and willing to spend big money I just wouldn't worry about it. Pick your exhaust system for your sound preference and not power.

Is it really on 10hp I thought I've seen others say 20-30. At the end of the day what matters is the track time and I don't want to get walked by the Ecoboost crowd 🤣

I'll be that guy.....drop a blower of your choice and be done.

As for N/A a catless Y pipe is obnoxiously loud.

It's all hear-say without some dyno graphs and I seriously doubt there are many (if any) dyno graphs reflecting just a header/y-pipe swap. If you find them please post them. If track times are what you're going after you can start off by shedding some weight. That will have a much larger impact plus it's free minus your time.

I have long tubes on my 18 and wish I would have just done the y pipe. The only thing is I wanted a 304ss y pipe and the only one that made a y pipe in stainless steel is AFE, but it's 409ss. So I went with Stainless Works headers with catted y pipe. I do not recommend Stainless Works if using a y pipe connection. I had nothing but issues with it as no matter what I did it would always end up dropping down a bit and hit one of the frame crossmembers and rattle. Not only that the design of the merge is not the greatest especially if looking inside. It made it way more raspier sounding. I know these coyotes are already raspy to begin with, but a poorly designed merge will enhance that. I had ARH long tubes on my 2011 5.0 and was nowhere near as raspy. Could just be differences in tbe engines/higher compression/firing order etc., but the merge on the ARH was a lot nicer. So if going headers and want to stick with a y pipe I would stick with ARH or Kooks and Stainless Works for there performance connect(I ordered the lead pipes to turn mine into the performance connect system).

Thanks for the heads up. I have also consider just buying 3" high flow cats and doing a x pipe and 3" all the way. So many choices lol.
