If you want a turbo kit with a CA exemption, that Edelbrock is likely your only option. There are other options to get you equal or even more power from the stock setup, but you don't seem interested in those options. The real advantage of that turbo kit won't be realized without custom tuning and higher octane fuel.

No, we do not currently offer power packages that include upgraded turbocharges for Ford.

Bigger/efficient turbine wheel and turbine housings (bigger A/R) to a point. You don't want to make it too big and introduce unnecessary lag and not benefit from the compressor side. I wish the EB community did more of this old school stuff. Slapping on $2000 turbos that are barely better than stock is a rather inefficient use of $. Someone could offer a service to port the exhaust manifolds or produce better flowing stock appearing ones (similar to what Forced Performance did for DSMs) and modify the stock turbos as stated earlier for half the cost.
Yes... tis what Im saying. I happen to have a friend that does that type of work. Has his own CNC to make various wheel profiles and a high speed balancing rig.
His work is so precise that he wanted me to send him a "stage 5" build from some hack I had on a shelf. He took it apart and laughed.
It was no wonder this turbo guru was getting alot of internet flack when his compressor wheels were flying off the unbalanced shaft into car windows at 100,000 rpms...lol

ZFG also has no CARB EO (according to the link you provided above). Thanks for passing along the information though.

Mind telling me who the "hack" is? You can PM if wanted.
