Edelbrock Turbo kit for 3.5L 2017-2022 F150s
Has anyone seen the Edelbrock Turbo kits (Stage 1, 2 or 3) for their 3.5L EcoBoost? It's 50 State legal and good for 157 HP increase to the rear wheels!

I don't know...seems rather pricy. Are there no other aftermarket turbo options for the Ecoboost?

Don't 18+ trucks already see 450-ish WHP from just a good 93-octane tune? 486 would be a let down for that kind of coin.
There are other options for the 18-20 trucks. Not sure what carrys over to the 21+ trucks.
Pure Turbos
CR Performance Turbos
Garrett Powermax Kit
I believe the turbos being used by Edelbrock are the same as what Garrett offers, a pair of GT2260S journal bearing turbos, which have been proven to around 700WHP on ethanol. The pair sells for ~$3,500. Looks like Edelbrock is charging you $2,000 for an intercooler, intercooler pipes, a panel filter and some warranty on the components.

Why does it seem that all the aftermarket turbos available for EB are just modified, OEM, Honeywell/Garrett turbos? Aren't Precision turbos generally considered more efficient than Garrett turbos for any given sized turbo, even if they aren't generally as reliable in the long-run as Garrett?

Unless one is building the engine, the stock turbos and Ethanol fuel can push it pretty close to it's limits.

Edelbrock did go thought the process of making it durable enough and with drivability enough to have a warranty, and legal so that there is no sale or registration issues ever.
Instructions look good and easy to follow, and there will be no fabrication or custom tuning (no trial and error and no horsing around with a tuner). https://edelbrock-instructions-v1.s3...ock/158333.pdf
It also meets the point of this "Performance, Tuning, and (LEGAL) Racing" forum, in that it is LEGAL.
Has anyone actually tried it out yet?

Quite a complete package, but is costly. It does require tuning and the instructions include directions for the included HP tuner module. May be fully warrantied by Edelbrock but how that applies to Ford's warranty is another point. As it will flash the processor it could trigger a warranty denial from Ford. Could, not necessarily will, it depends on the dealership and their attitudes to tuning and warranty. KM

I'm sure they sell very few at those price points, as again, just tuning on a stock 18+ F-150 on pump gas nets you close to these results for under $1,000. If you can tune on an ethanol mix, you'll be beyond those numbers and zero wrenching involved.

What's the bottom end limit for Ecoboosts anyway?
