My personal opinion is that a CAI doesn't provide any appreciable gains. If you want to dress it up under the hood or hear the Turbos more, go for it.

I run a AFE intake, but like the Banks and Whipple options.

My STOCK 2019 Raptor turbo's are showing 65#/min in logs and that's only @ 21psi, we haven't even pushed them yet. The FR turbo's should be able to flow at least another 50hp at the crank.

But, yes it's a lot of $$$.
That's some serious air. I'm stuck with the factory gen2 2017 turbos for a long, long time.

What is the gain for adding the upgraded turbos with a custom tune?

For your truck specifically? You will see numbers that you could only see with meth on your stock turbos. You also see a massive gain on the top-end as the GT's don't run out of steam, like the OEM turbo's.

Boostking shares a load of useful info here. Like, more than I've ever seen on a public site.

Big differences between the '17 and '18 from what I understand.

5 star does all the tuning for the Borla Kits, so they have some serious experience.

Brew City Boost and MPT both have good experience.

"Boostking" is on the .net forum and is a awesome guy who knows his stuff (works for SCT) and may be able to tune your truck.

If you have a 3 BAR MAP sensor you can read up to 28.8 PSI on the ford one. All 17+ f150's (and all 15+ 2.7' EB's) have the 3 BAR already.
