Default Ecoboost turbo upgrade

Hello new to the forum I have a 2015 f150 3.5 ecoboost and looking to upgrade my turbos. Because my driver side turbo is junk. Want opinions on best turbo setup and the reliability of them. Have done some research and not sure which route to go with it. Thanks in advance on advice

The Borg Warner Upgraded Turbos are likely your best bet. You could also look at CR Performance options too.

The BW turbos are the same if you look at the Ford Performance, Full Race or Borla options. Best bang for the buck is Ford Performance, especially if you can score a discount.

Where is the best place to buy them and for custom tuning? After they are installed.

Can't answer the turbo question, but for custom tuning, look at 5-star. They are the masters at Ecoboost tuning.

To answer your other questions, you should look at the F150 Ecoboost Forum. There is a wealth of F150 EB info there...a lot more in-depth than here.

I think Borla sells their kit mainly via CJ PonyParts. It is the priciest kit, but comes with a slick dual exhaust and a tune.

Hit up full-race.com for their offering (I think they have a sale on right now)

Finally, you can get the Ford Performance kit from pretty much any for dealer. Part Number M-9438-35TA

The Ford Performance turbos are a good option, they're basically the turbos off the High Output 3.5 so they're definitely better overall.

They are the exact same turbo as the Borla or Full Race. I like the Ford Perf Kit because it comes with most of the hardware needed to swap.

That and the data exists to make them work the same as OEM on your stock ECU so you don't need to drastically modify the strategy to run them which is really really nice.

Yeah, I had to run them on the stock tune a few times for inspections and bringing in the truck for warranty work. Nobody would have a clue.

What I find pretty impressive, is that I can run the stock tune on my truck with a fully built motor and 2019 raptor Turbos and it still runs good and behaves just like stock. I just have to swap out the 3 bar MAP sensor.
