E85
Again John. You have a tune from MPT and I am sure that Ford does not OK that either. From what I have read the biggest issue is fuel delivery. E85 would require a better fuel pump to be able to deliver enough fuel. SO to answer my own question NO it is probable not worth it to go to the E30 tune.

Not sure how it is now but a few years ago, (think 13 years) I had to replace a fuel injector in a late model Ford Taurus flex fuel. The dealer gave us one for a non flex fuel and it ran like crap. Brought it back as a defect and only then did they notice they sold us the wrong one. Got the right one and it ran like new. Is it the same now? No idea.

So E30 will make about the same as meth injection. I emailed my rep from MPT and I will post his reply.
From what I understand the fuel system is not made to push enough fuel through it to make up for what the e85 needs - approximately 25% more,
For track applications e85 can be very beneficial. For a daily driver you'll lose 20% at least of your mpg so you'd have to do the math to see if it would be worth it in that case.
