Yep, I’ve installed 3 Whipples now and it’s always the same

that's weird that you could use the vacuum tool and still get air bubbles....I had trouble with bubbles and priming if the pump wasn't running. With the pump running, no issues at all, It would fill the system in a minute at most.

Its the way whipple's system traps air.

If you notice the way a vacuum fill tool works, it has to have a strong vacuum built to move coolant from a container and when you get to the last small amount of air it doesn't build a strong vacuum.

You will get the best performance with 3.875 on 91 octane and 3.750 on 93 any lower and it will make less power and could kill your motor in a short time.

if your going to race it, consider a cat delete...
Thanks for the tip. I have heard about some other guys using Redines Wetter Water product to reduce air bubbles in the system upon filling the inter-cooler and to eliminate the need for "top offs". I never used the stuff in a car, but it does work great when used to cool our custom gaming PC's we build. It really does eliminate the air bubbles inside the PETG cooling lines. As far as my vehicles, I've always used DexCool and would do the typical air purge process like you mentioned. What do you guys use and your opinions on Red Lines WW?

I believe the Stage 2 Whipple for '19 F150 comes with a 3.750 pulley. I had the dealer fill it with 93 when I purchased the truck and plan on only running 93. Only have about 300 miles on the truck. I plan on breaking in the engine a little more before I install the Whipple. We are going to the beach and will put on close to 1,000 miles. Once we get back home the Whipple should be already on its way along with the other parts. Dump the oil, install everything, fill up all fluids, tune and off we go! Hopefully it goes that smooth.

I don't plan on racing, other than the occasional punk in his rice burner. I have a buddy who thinks his Stock SS Camaro is **** and wants to put up $1k. Along with the supercharger and catch can, I'm installing the oil pump gears, crank gears, primary chain tensioners, secondary re-locator and the ARP Bolt and washer from MMR. Once I rip up the factory tires I plan on installing Bilstien 5100s all the way around, 1500 pound sumo springs (I tow a trailer and boat) and Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/20 I think was the size, on Factory wheels. I want the Truck to stay pretty close to a Stock look other than the little bit of lift the Bilstiens and larger tires are going to give it. I don't think I'll do a cat delete. I don't think I'll need it, the closest Dyno is about 2 hours away. I think I'll be pretty happy with the Whipple tune from all the info I gathered so far. The amount of power I will be gaining will be more than enough I think. Of course, I always like others opinion and am not opposed to some overkill. My wife says the this entire conversation is overkill

even with water wetter you will still have to top off for at least 10 days...

Whipple tune (current one) runs good, your wife wont even mind driving it

Get one of these and install it at the same time as the blower

Im a little bit confused. Are you meaning to go to a 180? Isn't that what's in it already? Or go to a 170?

Your truck has a 190 stock, I believe a 180 is a better fit.
