Default 2018 5.0 header install

After waiting a full month for kooks to ship the updated ypipe, they finally shipped my headers and all. When it comes time to install is there anything I should be looking out for or any tips? I saw americantrucks.Com mentioned monkeying around with the motor mounts.

Use the supplied bolts.

i was given the advice to reuse the stuck studs, it is impossible to do. Bad advice. I fought the headers on and off for multiple days.

You will need to take the a/c compressor bolts out - let it hang.

if doing on jack stands use a floor jack to raise hand lower the motor/transmission to get the headers in and the ypipe in and out.

I had no problem reusing the factory studs but was using a 2 post lift.

You have any pictures of how that mounts to the muffler? I'm trying to figure out if I can fit the performance connect on my regular cab, and as long as the midpipe terminates before the muffler I can make it work, but there are no good photos of the underside of the performance connect. I managed to fit my Corsa by using a custom resonator delete pipe and an exhaust clamp .
