You could be right but then why would it work when I give the engine gas but after I let off it goes off ?

I'm telling you man, it's normal. The front wheels bind in four wheel drive and it fights the steering when you turn.

I haven't had it in 4wd in weeks what would be the reason it still isn't working

Oh, I thought you meant it only did it in 4wd. Then I would agree bad pump. The Ford pump sucks, which is why I did the Saginaw pump swap.

Take the pump back where you bought it exchange it for another one, install it and bleed it before you start the truck. Alot of ppl just pour in fluid and start their vehicle damaging the pump right off the bat. Then if we were right come back and tell us.

Man ain't that the truth, then have to argue with the parts manager because HE KNOWS all new parts are incapable of being bad out the box

My parts suppliers have learned not to argue with me. It does them no good. 99.9999% of the time I am right and their part is defective. I thought I was wrong one time, but I was mistaken. I got 2 bad parts in a row.
