Maintenance Interval
Engine oil/filter- 3K-5KTranny oil/filter- 50K-80K (Mercon V)
Differential lube- 100K (75W140 full synthetic only)
Coolant- 2-3 years (Long life)
Spark plugs- 100K (if original Motorcraft)
Power steering fluid- 50K-80K (Mercon V)
Brake fluid- 3 years (DOT 4 semi-synthetic)
AC- If it works, use it. If it doesn't, fix it.
Fuel injector cleaner- Every third tank
Surpentine fan belt- 60K (check often at higher mileage)
Air Cleaner- check and blow debris every third oil change
Other members may disagree with these schedules, but I don't
pay much attention to most of them.
Above schedule is an ok list to follow, although trans fluid changes would vary on use. The mileage listed is ok for normal use, but I would drop down a bit if you tow on a regular basis, more so if you live in a high temp area like the south. Also, just curious on the injector cleaner. All manufactures have used deposit resistant injectors since the early 90's, and injector cleaner really has a limited impact on this style injector. It's all cool, was just wondering the thoughts on this.
Thanks, but I want to run with LPG (liquified petroleum gas = Butane/Methane). So I don't burn gasoline. I think I need to refuel every 40,000 miles.
Gasoline is to expensive

Propane-fueled engines are very easy on lube oil since the major products of combustion are only water and CO2....fully synthetic might be good for 15K-20K dependent upon how much of the additive package is consumed. Try running 10K (assuming normal service, not heavy-duty) and pull a sample to test for the condition of the additive package. A full range test will also reveal particulate contamination and the presence of engine system wear factors.
I think, if I were running propane, I'd go 15K on a good grade of synthetic lube and change the filter at each oil change....cheap insurance.
Both my vehicles are long-in-the-tooth, '94 and '97, so I'm not sure the injectors would be of the most modern design, consequently the use of injector cleaner. The cleaner does double duty as intake valve and combustion chamber cleaner as well as providing some extra lube for the fuel pump.
Hey Kattumaram
thank you for you help. Seems to me like you're an expert in this area.
For me it is a must to change the oil filter every oil change.
And you are right, gas filter is cheap insurance
Now I go to the next step:
Find and buy a F150 in a good condition with nice equipment
