I have a 2010 fx4 and my gas always read something different ... Last night on way home my gas was reading 89km till empty. This morning I came out to leave started it up and it now reads 179 km till empty ... This is not the first time it has done it wondering if anyone may know the problem ??

I know it recalculates based upon fuel remaining in the tank and current consumption rate. Not sure about the trigger points though. I believe it is "configurable" to some extent.
