Unhappy 95 transmission noise and no power

Hi,

Hoping someone can diagnose this for me. I believe the transmission overheated on the way to the mountains this weekend. I started hearing whining noises and I started to lose power right before we parked it. When I did park, some fluid came spewing out of the vent hose by the bellhousing.

I got some replacement fluid to replace the stuff that I lost. I then started it and let it warm up today, then checked the fluid level. It seems fine, high if anything. I am hearing the following noise in park, neutral, and reverse. It goes away in drive. It sounds tinny.

I also have the OD light blinking at me. If I let it warm up for a bit, I lose all gears except for first (including reverse). It just revs up. If I turn the vehicle off and back on again, I can shift into drive and reverse. I haven't tried driving it far yet because I'm afraid I'll be stranded.

This is an automatic. I think I'm in big trouble here. Anyone see this before?
