Default Airbag Code 19

So my airbag light started blinking (code 19)...I think it may be a bad rcm ground but without a voltmeter I won't really be able to test it. Any ideas before I go purchase a voltmeter to figure out if that is the case.

I searched but the forum and didn't find any info on this specific code.

I installed a alpine power pack some time ago. It may have been sitting on the RCM. I moved power pack and took off the negative battery connection for 30 seconds. I have not had a another airbag notification. Hopefully that fixed it.

I spoke too soon...the code is back. I'll get it checked out Friday.

The mechanic stated that the actual airbag code is 2293. He and I both agree that it's the clock spring that is faulty. This is a common ford issue. This is something that I didn't want to mess with since it dealt w safety. There is a YouTube video how to better secure the ford clock spring connection.

Yeah this is not an inexpensive fix and due to the safety issues I just had to bite the bullet. I have only had this truck 5 months and wham $300. I guess it could've been worse.

Airbag light is back on...truck is back at the shop. Yay!!! Not sure what it is but I know I can't afford to keep paying for replacement parts.
