I'm using MIG. My concern is spatter contacting exposed wires and under the dash and possibly making its way up to the windshield. I have multiple welding blankets that I'll lay down and just bought a leather apron which I'll use to cover the torch while welding aside from wrapping exposed wires with a couple of layers of thick tin foil.
Sensitive, lol. Nope. [[b]If only you knew]. People like him are the wimps. Reminds me of faculty and staff at most Universities who complain and whine about having to provide accommodations to individuals who have physical disabilities and chronic health issues.

As to the "if you only knew" comment, well, I *DO* know. That's why I'm on permanent disab. We can't allow ourselves to assume that "no one knows". We'd be wrong. Everybody is dealing with something...
Peace out...

I ve done some pans and just put them in my suzuki samurai and you talk thin as paper ,this is my 2cents ,you will be at such low heat that spatter from weld wont travel far and sure isn't going to hit glass and dash because your not really welding a long arc your pretty much just spot welding very low spark, the biggest mess to keep contained is when grinding the weld those sparks get in every crack
