Default Emblem Bracket

I want to buy this mesh grille from RealTruck.com (part # AMD-7148222) and mount the factory emblem on the grille (part # CL3Z-8213-A). How would I mount the emblem??

The 3 pins on the emblem should have small flat nuts that screw on them. Those and the "peel and stick" pad on the back of the emblem may be your only choice. I on the other hand would cut an oval out of some thin sheet metal, use small bolts, washers and nuts and attach to the grill. Drill holes to accommodate the pins on the emblem, and stick that emblem to it.

So this is the back side of the current grille. It looks like it has clips as well. What do I do about that?

Are you removing the original grill altogether? And replacing it with the new mesh? Or mounting the new mesh over top of it?

The grille above is a complete replacement, not an insert.

The part number for the emblem is for a '12 XLT and was going to get a new emblem entirely and figured it would be the same

he grill you pictured looked to me like some sort of insert. I think I'm at a loss now. I have an '04 Lariat and havent looked under the hood of anything much newer. Sorry.

I cant cut it out of the factory one. Its got a chrome surround. Unless I can find a black grille (See below) and cut its surround out.
