I lost track of what photos I posted, thought I had added a couple pics of the painted engine cover.

This is a thread I shouldn't have found. Lol. Been trying to tell myself that I don't need to start color matching the interior and to leave it alone... Looks fantastic man!

I'm surprised they painted the radiator cover since it's a rubber type material.

Sorry man, thanks.

Yeah, its held up fine, they added a lot of flex additive into the paint. But I'm determined to get it skinned in forged carbon fiber. May have found someone who is willing to give it a try, would need a lot of hand sanding.

Haha. No worries! I’ve got some scratched up pieces inside from the previous owner anyway. I’ve just got ammo to show the wife what we could do now. Hahaha

Thats good. Forged carbon would definitely stand out more in pictures, probably at shows as well. I’m assuming you go to shows and aren’t putting all this time, energy, and money into it just for you.

I haven’t been to shows in a few years but will if I can ever get this stuff finished! I need to stop at some point, it’s addictive.

Glad I could help, good luck with the wife, I’m really lucky mine never says anything except she’s burying me in the truck and now I’ve moved onto my car doing the same things lol.

Yeah, the forged carbon looks really good in direct sunlight and at night the ambient lighting makes it all look even more insane. Between the CF and the smoothed painted plastics the interior looks much different than it did stock.

Lol. Mine walked out earlier while I was pulling door panels measuring and figuring out sound deadening. She just gave me a "what are you doing now?" look, I told her and she was just like "Of course you're pulling everything apart, but sounds good." Haha. I've slowly gotten her on board with modifications on vehicles. Trying to convince her to let me do some stuff to her car...

Sound deadening is great, but it’s a lot of work, been there done that before.

That’s a good idea, ease her into things. If you need more pics let me know, I can send you more ammo if needed.
