2.75" resonator delete
Got it done.
This is where the 2.5" pipe opens up to 2.7" where it enters the muffler
this required a band clamp with a butt connection

cut the pipe before it squeezes down to 2.5"
a band clamp didn't fit well so I welded it.

This is the tailpipe kit I "used" from Advanced auto parts. You basically buy it and can return it within 45 days for a full refund.

The sound is mellow when just driving around town, almost not noticeable.
But roars when you get on it.
